The Morrisonville FFA Chapter left Wednesday morning for Indianapolis, Indiana. They stayed there until Saturday morning. We arrived at our hotel, Wednesday at about 4:30 p.m., We spent the rest of the day meeting the other chapters in our hotel. Thursday morning we woke up early and went to the opening session. It was very motivational. The rest of the day we spent learning about future careers and interesting jobs at the Careers Show. We also were engaged in discussions ranging from land management to tractor technologies. Friday, we went back to the career show, some students participated in the silent auction. In the evening we went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse. While we waited we mingled with the other FFA Chapters. Some students even learned to "Jitter Bug" dance. This sharing of cultures and lifestyles was very informative and essential. Saturday, we woke up, said our good bye's to the friends we had made and started our way home. Like every convention, much was learned and many friends were made.
